The article describes the peculiarities of the use of the working notebook in the process of forming the text-creation skills of junior schoolchildren. It is emphasized that use of the workbook during the study of the course of choice "Working with the text: learning to understand, read, analyze, create" is determined by the need for the younger students to learn the relevant knowledge about the text and the formation of the skills, of the text-making and textmaking, which will serve as the mastery of language - the universal means of knowledge , thinking and communication will ensure the development of a linguistic personality in order to call, support and develop the students' natural need for text-making activities in the process of communication. The source of the formation of tectoty skills of pupils of junior school age is the practical activity on linguistic and linguistic material, since students, along with the acquisition of all levels of the language system learn motivated, competently, appropriately apply the oretical knowledge about linguistic units in speech practice, where the level of higher order is the text. It is stated that workbooks are a mobile genre of educational literature, an innovative multifunctional didactic phenomenon. They respond faster than others to the needs of the educational process: respond promptly to changes in the curriculum, supplement, deepen the material of the lessons.
