Description

Juicer is an interactive tool for analyzing transient events in microscope images. It has been developed primarily for the analysis of calcium events but can be useful for other types of events as well. The software can read TIF, LSM (Zeiss) and OIB (Olympus) file formats and perform various types of analyses, including:

  1. Fitting of events in individual pixels
  2. Event analysis (duration, FWHM, etc.)
  3. Classification of similar release events
  4. Denoising of raw images
  5. Pseudo linescan generation for framescan images
  6. Data adjustments (self-ratio, blurring, shear, channel math)
  7. Decomposition of images into signal and background flourescence

The repository for the tool is at https://bitbucket.org/ardoi/juicer/src/default/. This version 0.1.0 and is based on commit e48e738
