Сurrent state of the process of physical education of children of primary school age: problems and ways of their solution.
Description
The objective of the research is to systematize scientific knowledge concerning current status of physical education at school, find out principal trends in its development. The methods of analysis and integration of the data from scientific and methodological resources, systematization were used for conducting the research. The publication contains the analysis of the current status of physical education in Ukraine, provides description of the necessity to have systematic approach towards organizing this process, importance to keep attention of the society in order to support the issues of saving and improving health of young generation. Based on the data from scientific and methodological resources, the following issues in functioning of the system of physical education were analyzed: necessity to change the approach towards organizing the process of physical education, enlargement of possibilities to conduct pedagogical control, need to revise approaches towards forming theoretical knowledge, inadequate attention to implementation of educational innovations. Possible ways of solving above-mentioned problems, potential of contemporary innovations for improving the process of physical education via revision of approaches towards forming students’ theoretical background using contemporary information technologies and innovation tools, complex approach towards forming knowledge using the system of interdisciplinary relationships were under consideration. Improvement of the approaches towards organizing the process perhaps via revision of means and methods of physical education, increase of attention to forming human resources, formation of internal need to conduct systematic health and fitness activity among young generation
