ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ ЗАПАСА ЯЗЫКОВОЙ И КУЛЬТУРОВЕДЧЕСКОЙ ИНФОРМАЦИИ НА ЗАНЯТИЯХ ПО ЛИНГВОСТРАНОВЕДЕНИЮ

Modern conceptions of teaching foreign languages regard a language as a means of reflecting the native speakers’ culture. While studying a foreign language students at the same time muster the culture and spiritual values of the foreign language country. Linguistic and country studies in the aspect that deals with the national cultural component of the language material. During these classes students both work at the foreign language acquiring necessary knowledge and skills, and gain importation about the country culture, traditions, its history and modern life. Having analyzed the experience of teaching the course of linguistic and country studies in Ukraine as well as in other counties, the author sums up the results of his analysis and conclusions he has arrived at, concerning the teaching ways, methods and technologies, that ensure the learners, wide range of background culture and language knowledge.
