NASA MODIS Terra/Aqua 2017 Cloudless Satellite Image Composite (2km)

Composite image built from cleaned and recombined image tiles from the MODIS instrument aboard the NASA Terra and Aqua satellites, from a period spanning roughly the months of July-November 2017, at a pixel resolution of 2km by 2km. 

Global magery from 2017 were obtained from https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/ maintained by the NASA EOSDIS Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC), USGS/Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 2017.
