How much does access to scientific publications cost in the Open Access era? An initial analysis of the publications in the CNR.

The report analyzes the Italian National Research Council (CNR) Open Access publications for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. An analysis of the CNR OA gold, OA hybrid, OA green and non-OA publications is presented. The costs are estimated for OA gold and OA hybrid publications. Particular attention is given to the publications in the journals of the major publishers with whom the CNR has subscriptions.
