Description
The article substantiates the strategic priority tasks of
reforming the system of higher education in Ukraine; The present
state of the national higher professional education and its task are
highlighted; the principles of modern European education are
highlighted; Components and functions of educational process
organization in higher education institutions; attention is paid to
the development of professional pedagogical skills of pedagogical
workers, increase their level of readiness to use personal
development and information and communication technologies,
electronic teaching aids, information and analytical systems for
students; the recommendations of the European Higher Education
Area regarding the development of higher education in the EU
countries are substantiated. The author emphasizes that one of the
main principles of modern European education, which is
responsible for the qualitative aspect of training and acquisition of
professional competencies, is the mobility of students and teachers.
The author points out that the influence of integration processes,
the growing role of globalization, is the need to use international
educational standards in the field of education. Reforming the
system of higher education, creating favorable conditions for the
development of a person throughout his life, in particular, his
professional growth, is the key to the development of national
intellectual potential.
Strategic priorities for reforming the system of higher
education in Ukraine are: the construction of a national education
system, the formation of an educated creative personality, ensuring
the priority development of man; functioning and development of
the national education system based on the principles of humanism,
democracy, the priority of social and spiritual values; the output of
the education system in Ukraine on the level of educational systems
in developed countries by radically reforming its conceptual,
structural and organizational foundations.
