Description
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the training of
specialists of the specialty 015.05 «Professional Education
(Document Science)», describes the competences that future
teachers of professional training in document science learn. The
emphasis is placed on the importance of continuing vocational
education, which corresponds to the world trends in life-long
education.
It has been proved that in the context of the new educational
paradigm it became necessary to develop sectoral standards for
higher education. An analysis of draft standards has shown that the
humanistic and human-centric paradigm of vocational education
is transformed into technological / technocratic. The question is the
relation of pedagogical and documentary disciplines in the
curriculum of preparation of bachelors and masters; the issue of
the need to include in the curriculum of linguistic, bibliographic
and archival studies disciplines is unresolved. It is emphasized that
the basic principles of training specialists within the specialty
«Vocational education» should remain its humanization,
fundamentalization and activity orientation
