Description

Lightning talk introducing Shwirl (Vohl, 2017)—a software written in Python, OpenGL, and GLSL—presented at Python in Astronomy 2018. Shwirl was written as experimental sandbox to develop meaningful colouring methods for visualising spectral cube data, along with on-the-fly processing like filtering, smoothing, and more (Vohl, Fluke, Barnes & Hassan, 2017).
