ДОСВІД ФРАНЦУЗЬКОЇ МОВНОЇ ПОЛІТИКИ: ІСТОРИЧНІ АСПЕКТИ І СУЧАСНІ ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ

The necessity to identify strategic priorities and benchmarks for reforming the Ukrainian
language-cultural and informational spaces caused this case study’s relevance. The French national
language policy experience aimed as the analysis main problem has been comprehensively
studied. In the historical context, various state measures aimed at regulating the languages use
have been considered. The French language actual status and its use features have been determined.
Some aspects of modern term creation have been studied. The role of Francophonie in the
field of international cooperation have been defined. The conclusion of the historical experience
study of the French purism politics, which has been consistently introducing measures aimed at
protecting its language and affirming the French as the only official language of the state, as well
as modern mechanisms for enriching the French language, can be of a practical value in the new
linguistic Concept implementation in Ukrainian society.
