Presentation Open Access
Presentation given at the international Open Science conference in Berlin on 13-14 March 2018. The talk reviews data policy developments over recent years, tracking the drivers for open, FAIR data and uptake amongst the research community. It argues that effective data management is a necessary precursor and that the importance of RDM should be reasserted in policies and engagement programmes.
The three historic versions of the NERC data policy referred to on slide 10 are also included since these no longer appear to be available online.
