Description

The paper summarizes new data on 70 previously recorded species of hoverflies in Ojców National Park. In this area another 11 species are discovered for the first time. Sphegina montana BECKER, 1921 was not listed from Poland since XIX century. Among the newly recorded species are also those that are considered rare in their range: Cheilosia nebulosa (VERRALL, 1871); Eumerus flavitarsis ZETTERSTEDT, 1843; Myolepta dubia (FABRICIUS, 1805); Neocnemodon larusi VUJIĆ, 1999; N. latitarsis (EGGER, 1865); Xylota jakutorum BAGATSHANOVA, 1980. Erroneous report of Parasyrphus kirgizorum (PECK, 1961) in ONP refers to Syrphus nitidifrons BECKER, 1921. As a result number of Syrphidae species recorded from Ojców National Park reached 185.
