ОБРАЗОТВОРЧИЙ ПОТЕНЦІАЛ ЛЕКСИКОНУ В ПОЕТИЧНОМУ ТЕКСТІ

The lexical level of any language is the source of permanent innovations in the means of art image creation in spite of numerous works on linguistic analysis of poetry. The aim of the article is to bring to light the imaginative potential of lexicon in poetic text through analysis of interconnection of lexical components and deciphering of author’s intentions from the text. The research is based on poetry of Lina Kostenko. Itexplores lexical means of creation of art images such as stylistic figures, tropes, and non-standard elements, the cumulative semantics of which allows specifying meaning of every word and making an utterance more emotional and expressive. The results of the research show that the strongest aesthetic expressions are created not by using single words with figurative meaning but with some amount of associatively combined lexemes. Due to functioning of such images, the perception of poetrycontent gains features of creative process, providing a peculiar dialogue of a recipient with an author.
