Development of the principles of "Basel 2" in the system of state regulation of the financial security of Azerbaijan's banking system

Theoretical aspects and practical directions of using the newly developed principles of Basel 2 are considered in the article for strengthening and developing measures for the financial security of the banking system of the national economy. In this context, the article gives a brief overview of the versions of the Basel Agreement adopted at various time stages, analyzes the advantages of the latter, examines the effectiveness of their use in the activities of banking institutions in general, and in particular related financial security.
