Description

In order to reinforce the network of collaborative efforts established in previous years to facilitate the surfacing, reuse and innovative interpretation of relevant existing marine data, on May 19th 2017, a workshop entitled “The Adriatic Ionian Region: energy resource exploration and exploitation and environmental sustainability” disclosed the results of activities carried out by the research action called "oil & gas". The Conference  has been held in Taranto (Southern Italy).  The action "oil & gas" of the Ritmare Project aimed to provide an independent scientific standpoint on the controversial issue of exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in the Italian seas.
