Material examined. USA: 2 syntypes YPM 24214 (male stolon), 24215 (female stolon), 1 additional spm YPM 24216 (male stolon), Essex Bridge, Salem, Massachusetts, Mar 1879. Greenland: 1 syntype of A. groenlandicus ZMUC POL –1103 (male stolon), Kangek, 100 m, 2 Jul 1938; 1 syntype of A. groenlandicus ZMUC POL –1104 (male stolon), Godthaab Skibshavn, Ingolf expedition, 28 Jun 1895.
