Current name: Xenorhina oxycephala (Schlegel, 1858)
Syntypes: RMNH 2280, 2 spec. Loc.: “Nieuw-Guinea” [Irian Jaya, Indonesia]. Leg.: S. Müller. Remarks. Zweifel (1972a: 536) restricted the type locality to “ Triton Bay, West Irian”.
