Diagnosis. Palpi yellow; legs black; wings with five distinct white markings at least in R1 cell (Fig. 10); halters black. Epandrium slightly longer than wide, rounded dorsally and truncate ventrally in posterior view (Fig. 11); surstyli large, longer than wide; aedeagus with short and thick anterior projection (Fig. 12).

Distribution. China (Beijing); Algeria, Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Canada, Greenland, USA.
