Family Aeginidae Gegenbaur, 1857

Manubrial pouches interradial, undivided or divided into two to four parts, bearing the ‘‘gonads’’; with or without peripheral canal system; exumbrellar, perradial, primary tentacles between marginal lobes; with or without secondary tentacles on umbrellar margin. Primary tentacles originating above manubrial pouches. With or without otoporpae.
