Zoogeographic element. European (boreo-montane).

Distribution. Boreo-montane species distributed in Europe from Northern (Sweden, Norway) to Western (Ireland, England), Central and Eastern Europe (the Alps, the Carpathians), and South-Eastern (Balkan Peninsula: Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria).

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. (LN85) (Nitzu & Olenici 2009); Piatra Craiului (LL63) (Nitzu et al. 2010). Hypogeal records.
