Description

Psallus (Pityopsallus) laticeps Reuter, 1878

Siberian taiga species, eastern vicarial of European Psallus pinicola Reuter, 1878. Host plant—spruce (Picea obovata). In Altai also collected from spruce canopy. Here recorded for the first time for China.

Mateial examined. 5 ♀, Altai, Xiaodong Gou forest protection, 11 km N of Altai, 1000–1100 m (47°56'N; 88°08'E), 30.VI.2011 (N. Vinokurov).
