Ecology. Shelf species, found at depths between 330 (Peña Cantero et al. 1997) and 455 m (present study). Epibiotic on bryozoans (Peña Cantero et al. 1997). Gonothecae: January (Peña Cantero et al. 1997) and February (Peña Cantero et al. 1997; present study).
Distribution. Circum-Antarctic. West Antarctica: Weddell Sea (Peña Cantero et al. 1997). East Antarctica: off Cape Adare, Ross Sea (present study).
