Description

Aleiodes (Chelonorhogas) dimidiatus (Spinola, 1808)

Distribution in Iran. Kerman (Asadizade et al. 2014), Iran (no specific locality) (Telenga 1941 as Rhogas dimidiatus; Fallahzadeh & Saghaei 2010).

General distribution. Entire Palaearctic, Oriental. Afghanistan, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kamchatka, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Madeira Islands, Manchuria, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Transcaucasia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012), Algeria, Morocco (Yu et al. 2012; Papp 2014), Japan (Watanabe 1937 as Rhogas dimidiatus), Siberia (Watanabe 1935, 1937 as Rhogas dimidiatus), Tunisia (Yu et al. 2012; Papp 2014).

Hosts. Diptera—Chloropidae: Lipara lucens Meigen, 1830. Hymenoptera—Tenthredinidae: Cladius pectinicornis (Geoffroy, 1785). Lepidoptera—Erebidae: Arctia caja (Linnaeus, 1758); Diacrisia irene (Butler, 1881); Diacrisia sannio (Linnaeus, 1758); Palearctia gratiosa rupicola (Grum-Grshimailo, 1890) (Yu et al. 2012). Lasiocampidae: Euthrix potatoria (Linnaeus, 1758), Lasiocampa quercus (Linnaeus, 1758), Macrothylacia rubi (Linnaeus, 1758) (Yu et al. 2012). Lymantriidae: Orgyia antiqua (Linnaeus, 1758) (Yu et al. 2012). Orgyia dubia (Tauscher, 1806); O. splendida Rambur, 1842 (Yu et al. 2012). Noctuidae: Agrotis clavis (Hufnagel, 1766); A.exclamationis (Linnaeus 1758); A. ipsilon (Hufnagel, 1766); A. segetum (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); A. vestigialis (Hufnagel, 1766); Apamea anceps (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); Caradrina morpheus (Hufnagel, 1766); Cerapteryx graminis (Linnaeus, 1758); Cosmia subtilis Staudinger, 1888; Euxoa aquilina (Denis & Schiffermueller, 1775); Euxoa sibirica (Boisduval, 1837); E. temera (Hübner, 1808); E. tritici (Linnaeus, 1761); Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, 1808); H. zea (Boddie, 1850) on Gossypium hirsutum; Hoplodrina blanda (Denis & Schiffermueller, 1775); H. octogenaria (Goeze, 1781); Mythimna separata Walker, 1865 (Syn. Pseudaletia separata) (Yu et al. 2012). Thaumetopoeidae: Thaumetopoea processionea (Linnaeus, 1758) (Watanabe 1937; Shenefelt 1975; Tobias 1986).
