Aleiodes circumscriptus (Nees, 1834)

Distribution in Iran. Fars (Lashkari Bod et al. 2011), Golestan (Ghahari et al. 2009 as Rogas circumscriptus Nees, 1834), Guilan, Mazandaran (Farahani et al. 2015), Ilam (Ghahari et al. 2011c), Kerman (Abdolalizadeh et al. 2017), West Azarbaijan (Rastegar et al. 2012), Iran (no specific locality) (Telenga 1941 as Rhogas circumscriptus; Shenefelt 1975; Fallahzadeh & Saghaei 2010).

General distribution. Palaearctic. Albania, Caucasia, North Africa, Romania, Siberia (Shenefelt 1975), Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, Croatia, Faero Islands, Georgia, Greece, France, Iceland, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Tunisia, former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012), Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden (Yu et al. 2012; van Achterberg & Shaw 2016), England, Scotland (Shenefelt 1975; Broad et al. 2016; van Achterberg & Shaw 2016), Ireland (Yu et al. 2012; Broad et al. 2016; van Achterberg & Shaw 2016), Lichtenstein (van Achterberg & Shaw 2016), Wales (Broad et al. 2016; van Achterberg & Shaw 2016), Switzerland (Yu et al. 2012; van Achterberg 2014), Turkey (Yu et al. 2012; Beyarslan 2015).

Hosts. Lepidoptera—Erebidae: Atolmis rubricollis (Linnaeus, 1758); Leucoma salicis (Linnaeus, 1758) (Yu et al. 2012), Hypena proboscidalis (Linnaeus, 1758) (van Achterberg & Shaw 2016). Gelechiidae: Caryocolum amaurella (Hering, 1924). Geometridae: Thera variata (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); Abraxas grossulariata Linnaeus, 1758; Bupalus piniarius (Linnaeus, 1758); Cyclophora ruficiliaria (Herrich-Schäffer, 1855); Epirrhoe galiata (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); Epirrita autumnata (Borkhausen, 1794); Eupithecia alliaria Staudinger, 1870; E. linariata (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); E. subfuscata (Haworth,1809); Gymnoscelis rufifasciata (Haworth, 1809); Hylaea fasciaria (Linnaeus, 1758); Lycia isabellae (Harrison, 1914). Noctuidae: Apamea crenata (Hufnagel, 1766); Autographa gamma (Linnaeus, 1758); Diarsia rubi (Vieweg, 1790); Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, 1808); Hoplodrina octogenaria (Goeze, 1781); Lithomoia solidaginis (Hübner, 1803); Mamestra brassicae (Linnaeus 1758); Noctua fimbriata (Schreber, 1759); N. pronuba (Linnaeus, 1758); Orthosia gracilis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); O. incerta (Hufnagel, 1766); O. stabilis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); Pseudaletia unipuncta (Haworth, 1809); Spodoptera exigua (Hübner 1808); Xestia agathina (Duponchel, 1827); X. baja (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); X. xanthographa (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775). Pterophoridae: Pterophorus pentadactyla (Linnaeus, 1758). Pyralidae: Dioryctria abietella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775); Tortricidae: Archips rosana (Linnaeus, 1758); Croesia bergmanniana Linnaeus, 1758; C. holmiana Linnaeus, 1758; Cydia conicolana (Heylaerts, 1874) on Pinus pinaster; C. strobilella (Linnaeus, 1758) on Pseudotsuga sp.; Pammene amygdalana (Duponchel, 1842); P. gallicolana (Lienig & Zeller, 1846); Tortrix viridana (Linnaeus, 1758); Zeiraphera griseana (Hübner, 1799) (Yu et al. 2012).
