Caricyphus angulatus Spence Bate 1888

Description

*** Caricyphus angulatus Spence Bate, 1888

Larval form of unknown adult affinity, recorded from 2500 m near Marion Island (Spence Bate 1888). Caricyphus spp. are considered to be larvae of Oplophoridae sensu lato (incl. Acanthephyridae), likely the genus Acanthephyra (Fernandes et al. 2007).
