Staurotheca dichotoma Allman, 1888

Material examined. ANT XV/3: 48-276, several stems, c. 30 mm high, on gravel; ANT XXI/2: PS65/121, mass of stems, c. 120 mm high.
Ecology and distribution. Species reported at depths from 82 (Totton 1930) to 1235 m (Peña Cantero in press); present material collected between 268 and 417 m. Antarctic-Kerguélen distribution (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2003).
