Ecology and distribution. Species previously reported from the low tide (Billard 1914, as Campanulina belgicae) to 779 m depth (Peña Cantero 2014a); present material was collected from 62 to 598 m. Probably a Pan- Antarctic species (Peña Cantero et al. 2013).
