18. Androlaelaps dogieli (Schulman, 1957)

Haemolaelaps dogieli Schulman, 1957: 95.

Haemolaelaps dogieli. Lange, 1958: 203, pl. LXXII, fig. H.

Type locality. Russia, Republic of Karelia, Sil’ga settlement.

Type host. Sicista betulina (Pallas, 1779).

Principal hosts. Birch mice of the genus Sicista Gray, 1827.

Distribution. A. dogieli is known from several regions of the former USSR, including European Russia, Northern Kazakhstan, and the Tien Shan Mts in Central Asia (Lange, 1958). In Asiatic Russia, it has been recorded in several localities in the Novosibirsk and Tomsk Regions, Western Siberia (Davydova & Belova, 1972; ORINF archives, unpublished).
