Description
Axoclinus storeyae (Brock, 1940).
Carmine Triplefin. To 4.3 cm (1.7 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2008). Bahía Santa Maria (24°46.1’N, 112°16’W), southern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Bahía Conejos (15°45’N, 96°05’W), Mexico (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California), including Gulf of California (Robertson and Allen 2002). Benthic; depth: 1–21 m (3–70 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
