Description

Lycenchelys monstrosa Anderson, 1982.

To 27.6 cm (10.9 in) TL. Monterey Bay, central California (Anderson 2012) to Gulf of Panama (Anderson 1995). Benthic; depth: 3,100 –4,188 m (10,168 –13,740 ft) (min.: Anderson 2012; max.: Anderson 1995), or perhaps as shallow as 2,780 m (9,118 ft) (Anderson 2012).
