Description
Larimus pacificus Jordan & Bollman, 1890.
Pacific Drum. To 32 cm (12.6 in) TL (Jiménez Prado and Béarez 2004). Southern Baja California (24°54.4’N, 112°20’W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Coquimbo, central Chile (Kong and Valdés 1990), including Gulf of California (Robertson and Allen 2002) and Islas Galápagos (Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Depth: 1–273 m (3–895 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Zeballos Flor et al. 1998).
