Description
* Nansenia pelagica Kawaguchi & Butler, 1984.
10.8 cm (4.3 in) SL. Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; subtropical Pacific between Hawai’i and North America. Depth: mesopelagic. All in Kawaguchi and Butler (1984). We found no reports of juveniles or adults within our range, although larvae were reported taken between about Ensenada, northern Baja California and San Ignacio, southern Baja Columbia (Funes-Rodríguez et al. 2011).
