Wildfire-atmosphere interactions during the Santa Coloma de Queralt fire: the development of a fire-induced circulation

Description

This dataset contains the data used for the paper: Wildfire-atmosphere interactions during the Santa Coloma de Queralt fire: the development of a fire-induced circulation. 

The data presented here includes:

  1. The scq_setup folder contains the settings for MicroHH (scq.ini) and the 2D surface input fields for the virtual potential temperature (thl), specific humidity (qt) and a tracer released by the fire (s). We provided the 2D surface input files for both the environmental run (Environmental_2D_surface_input_fields) and for the fire run (Fire_2D_surface_input_fields). Note the fire-run only contains files between 7200 and 14400, since this simulation with the fire uses a restart from the environmental run at 7200 seconds. 
  2. The fire perimeter data of the SCQ fire on the 24th of July is provided in the 'scq_fire_perimeter' folder.
