Ground temperature at 50 cm depth at 16 nodes of the 'Crater Lake' CALM site (2008-2021), Deception Island, Antarctica
Description
Ground temperature measured every 3 hours between 2008 and early 2022 at a depth of 50 cm in 16 nodes of the 100x100 m Circumpolar Active Layer Monitoring (CALM) grid of 'Crater Lake' (A16) located in Deception Island, South Shetland Archipelago, Antarctica. Such depth in the interannual thickness of the active layer or the top of the permafrost table. Data are provided both, (1) in raw format as they are downloaded from the indvidual temperature logger devices, and (2) clean, after removed non valid data, and staked yearly. No further corrections as offset or gaps interpolation has been applied to the data. A location map and a shapefile with the position of each sensor is provided.
