Description
For this manuscript we conducted a meta-analysis from epigenome-wide association study of asthma exacerbations in 599 Latino and 394 African Americans as discovery ("2_EWAS_MetaResults_Multiancestry_GALA_SAGE__bacon_exacerbations_mval_lineal_age_sex_pcs_rcs_filtered.txt"). In addition, we also performed a multi-ancestry meta-analysis including GEMAS study, which included 312 Canary Islanders and 94 Basques ("2_EWAS_MetaResults_Multiancestry_GALA_SAGE_CAN_PV_bacon_exacerbations_mval_lineal_age_sex_pcs_rcs_filtered.txt").
Summary statistics output is organized in the following columns:
- RSID: Probe ID
- STUDY: number of studies or subsets were is present the probe
- BETA_meta: coefficient estimate
- SEBETA_meta: standard error
- PVALUE_meta: raw p-value
- PVALUE_Q: p-value of Cochran’s Q
- Model: FE (fixed effect) or RE2 (random effect)
- PVALUE_meta_adj: adjusted p-value by false discovery rate
