This document includes a detailed codebook that provides descriptions, interpretations, and examples of the five key categories used for analyzing the data presented in the article titled "Virtual reality to assess the classroom management competence: a study on conflict management”, published in Revista Iberoamericana de Educación a Distancia (RIED), 28 (1), 2024. These categories were essential for the thematic content analysis conducted on the research data, specifically in the analyzed videos. The categories are based on the conflict management styles proposed by Thomas and Kilmann (2008): cooperation, compromise, accommodation, avoidance, and domination. The strategies employed by participants in various simulated scenarios were manually coded using Atlas.ti (v.24.0). This supplementary material is designed to enhance the understanding of the analytical methods applied and to support the scientific community in replicating or extending this study.
