Description

Fig. 2. Beanplot for occurrence of the three common scavenger species (water monitor Varanus salvator, dog Canis lupus familiaris, and Malay civet Viverra tangalunga) recorded on camera traps in oil palm plantations with reference to (a) distance from forest edge or (b) distance from human settlements, where the width of the beanplot denotes the frequency of occurrence at the respective distances. Horizontal black solid bar is the mean distance for individual species; horizontal dashed line is the overall mean distance for all three species; horizonal white bars are observations.
