CATAMI Label Tree - Western Antarctic Peninsula morphotaxa

Label Tree based on the CATAMI annotation scheme (Althaus et al. 2015). To provide a more detailed identification of the Antarctic benthos, additional levels were incorporated into the base structure.

This Label Tree is made for image annotation and was made to be imported into BIIGLE (Langenkämper et al. 2017).

About the project

This Label Tree was made during the TANGO project (www.tango-expeditions.be). In this framework, two sampling campaigns were carried out to collect new information and samples to delineate responses of marine ecosystems to shifts in ice regimes in the WAP, taking full advantage of a nimble sampling platform, the R/V Australis, a steel-hulled, fully rigged motor sailor (Danis et al., 2024, 2023). Results will be published in a research paper soon!
