El platero placentino Luis Navarrete. Aportaciones documentales sobre su trayectoria biográfica y artística
Description
En este trabajo abordamos la trayectoria del platero placentino Luis Navarrete, a quien tenemos documentado entre los años 1559 y 1597. Entre las obras que estudiamos, destaquemos las custodias de Tejeda de Tiétar y Plasenzuela, o la cruz procesional de esta última parroquia. Fue uno de los plateros más importantes de la ciudad de Plasencia.
Abstract (English)
In this work we look at the career of Luis Navarrete, a silversmith from Plasenzuela, who is documented between 1559 and 1597. Among the works we study are the monstrances of Tejeda de Tiétar and Plasenzuela, and the processional cross of the latter parish church. He was one of the most important silversmiths in the city of Plasencia.
