Simplified model of thermal energy balance beneath the Antarctic ice sheet

  • 1. University of California Santa Cruz

Description

This code uses a thermal energy balance of the Antarctic subglacial system to simulate basal melting over the past 800,000 years. It parameterizes climate-drive fluctuations in the basal environment using the EPICA Dome C Ice Core δD record.
