Description
The L2B Aquatic Pigments PGE generates estimates of chlorophyll A and phycocyanin concentrations (mg m-3) in aquatic ecosystems from corrected reflectance and fractional cover inputs using pre-trained mixture density networks (MDN). MDN weights were derived from Pahlevan et al. (2021) for chlorophyll and O'Shea et al. (2021) for phycocyanin. Prior to model application, reflectance datasets were resampled to model wavelengths. Pigment concentrations are only estimated for pixels with water fractional cover of greater than 0.9. Estimates are saved in cloud optimized GeoTIFF format. This repository holds an archive of the source code (sister*.tar.gz) with full Common Workflow Language (CWL) per the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Best practice document (https://docs.ogc.org/bp/20-089r1.html): a docker container (ogc*.tar.gz) and a process file (*.cwl).
