Description
The L2B Fractional Cover PGE generates fractional cover of soil, vegetation, water, and snow from corrected reflectance inputs using a spectral mixture analysis (Keshava and Mustard 2002). Spectral unmixing was performed using a four endmember dataset derived from the EMIT surface reflectance library (Thompson 2021a; 2021b; 2021c) to estimate fractional cover estimates of soil, vegetation, water and snow/ice. A brightness normalization was applied to minimize the impact of intraclass brightness variability on unmixing results. Output is a GeoTIFF containing layers for vegetation, soil, water, and snow and supporting files. This repository holds an archive of the source code (sister*.tar.gz) with full Common Workflow Language (CWL) per the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Best practice document (https://docs.ogc.org/bp/20-089r1.html): a docker container (ogc*.tar.gz) and a process file (.cwl).
