Branch tips are labeled with GenBank accession number, lineage name, host taxon, and sample location (U.S. state and/or country). Haplotypes identified in northern pintails in Alaska and California as part of this study are indicated in bold font. A summary of continent of origin for parasite haplotypes comprising major clades is provided to the right of brackets. Bootstrap support values>70 are shown.
