Data Crunch handout "DIY: File naming"
Description
The Data Crunch handout series, developed at the Research Data Service Center at the University of Bonn, concisely describes various aspects of research data management (RDM) and is aimed at all researchers and interested parties who want to expand their knowledge of RDM.
In the "DIY: File naming" handout a summary of file naming best practices, the do's and dont's, a naming convention table template and examples of helpful resources are provided. The handout is accompanied by a reusable naming convention table template.
The Data Crunch "DIY: File naming" handout as well as the reusable naming convention table template are available under the CC-0 Universal License.
