On the right track: Demand-oriented development of the research data repository RADAR
- 1. FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure
Description
The research data repository RADAR, launched in 2017, supports the secure management, archiving, publication and dissemination of digital research data. The system is operated by FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure and is currently used as a generic cloud service by 20 universities and non-university research institutions in Germany. Since its launch, the environment for research data repositories and also the requirements of researchers and using institutions have developed dynamically. Using a timeline, our poster illustrates RADAR's feature set and how the system has responded to these dynamic changes until now (Feb. 2024). It also presents our future plans. The poster may therefore provide solutions and potential synergies for RDA activities and other service providers.
