Description

This dataset comprises the output of the "HUMan Impact on LANDscapes ABM 1.0" (HUMLAND ABM), along with an associated R project designed for the analysis of the results. The model is accessible via the CoMSES Model Library (https://www.comses.net/; search for "HUMLAND"; DOI: 10.25937/fxdq-fn86). The purpose of this model is to track and quantify the intensity of different impacts on landscapes on the continental level and to determine the most influential factor in transformation of interglacial vegetation with specific focus on burning organized by hunter-gatherers. This model accumulates different types of spatial datasets which are used as input and target for simulation outputs. The results include: CARAIB-REVEALS comparison, simulation outputs for the separate and combined effects of agents, sensitivity analyses, and potential scenarios of vegetation change. For more detailed information, please consult the user guide for HUMLAND ABM 1.0 (HUMLAND_1.0_USER_GUIDE.pdf).
