The information stored in this collection originates from research projects generated by the STRIDE Center - a U.S. Department of Transportation grant-funded regional (Southeast) University Transportation Center housed at the University of Florida Transportation Institute. STRIDE focuses on reducing congestion. The collection will contain data related, but not limited to, autonomous/connected vehicles, smart phones, sensors, advanced signal control, corridor management, variable speed limits, ramp metering, incidents and incident management, speed and flow, traveler information, special events, weather events, commuters, older drivers, millennials, pedestrian/bike facilities, transit, intersection and interchanges. The STRIDE Center is a consortium comprised of nine university partners in the region, representing a total of seven states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee).
