Welcome to the SEED AI Community

The SEED AI Community is a centralized research hub dedicated to bridging the critical gap between rapid Artificial Intelligence (AI) expansion and human capacity within emerging economies. Founded by Abraham Olajide Oni, our community serves as a vital platform for researchers, engineers, and policymakers focused on ensuring that AI adoption in the Global South is resilient, context-aware, and responsible.

As AI systems penetrate sectors with unique systemic vulnerabilities, the need for localized safety frameworks has never been more urgent. Our community hosts four foundational publications that address these challenges directly:

  1. Localized AI Failure Modes in Low-Resource Environments: Investigates how infrastructure instability and data scarcity create novel risks.
  2. Agentic AI and Human Override Systems in Safety-Critical Tasks: Explores the technical and ethical requirements for human intervention in autonomous systems.
  3. AI Safety Literacy Curriculum for Technical & Non-Technical Audiences: Provides a standardized blueprint for building a safety-conscious workforce.
  4. Scaling AI Skill Acquisition for Public Sector Safety Outcomes: Offers actionable strategies for strengthening institutional oversight and governance.

We invite global researchers to engage with our work as we strive to turn technological advancement into equitable human empowerment. Together, we are building the "human guardrails" necessary for a secure AI future.
