Curation Policy – Society of Core Analysts (SCA)
1. Scope of the Community
This Zenodo Community collects and archives only (!) conference papers, abstracts, final programs, and supplementary materials (e.g., datasets, presentations, posters) associated with the annual International Symposium of the Society of Core Analysts (SCA).
2. Eligible Content Types
Submissions must fall into one or more of the following categories:

Peer-reviewed conference papers presented at SCA symposia, accepted by the SCA VP of Technology

Official final programs of SCA conferences
- Educational materials approved by the SCA Executive Board (e.g., Short Courses)
3. Submission Requirements
All submissions must:

Be authored or co-authored by individuals affiliated with according SCA symposia
-
Include accurate metadata (authors, affiliations, abstract, keywords)
-
Use standardized SCA keywords and naming conventions
-
Be in English
-
Be submitted as PDF or supported file types (for supplementary materials)
4. Review & Approval Process
All uploads will be reviewed by authorized SCA Community Curators before publication.
The curators verify that:

The submission belongs to the scope of the community

Metadata are complete and consistent with SCA standards
-
Keywords follow the official SCA nomenclature
-
Licensing and DOI assignment follow best practices
5. Roles & Responsibilities
Curation is performed by the Technical Board under the oversight of the SCA VP of Publications.
Final decisions rest with the SCA Executive Board in case of dispute or unclear scope.
6. Exclusion Criteria
Submissions will be rejected if they:

Are not related to SCA events or SCA-endorsed research

Contain incomplete or misleading metadata
-
Violate copyright, licensing, or Zenodo’s terms of use

Contain promotional, plagiarized, or non-scientific content
7. FAIR Principles Compliance
Submitters are strongly encouraged to adhere to the FAIR principles by:

Providing clear titles, abstracts, and keywords
-
Using standardized author names and affiliations
-
Including DOIs and references where applicable
