The REWHARD Syntax library is a repository for syntax samples used for handling data from the REWHARD infrastructure. Samples are written in commonly used scripting languages (e.g. SAS, SPSS) that exemplify common and useful statistical operations, enabling researchers working with REWHARD data to copy and paste syntax in their own code.
The REWHARD national research infrastructure aims to advance research on how activities (especially paid and unpaid work) and social relations (in both work and family life) are linked to living conditions, lifestyle and health development across the life course. Funded by the Swedish Research Council, it is organized as a consortium of Stockholm university and Karolinska Institutet. REWHARD maintains data for the following project nodes:
- LNU, the Swedish level-of-living survey
- SLOSH, the Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Survey of Health
- IMAS, Insurance Medicine All Sweden
- STODS, the Swedish Twin project of Disabilty Pension and Sickness absence.
For information on how to apply for access to REWHARD data, please check the links above. Here, you will find syntax samples and scripts that may provide useful if you are working with REWHARD data. These will be made available on an ongoing basis. Documentation of the syntax files will be mostly in Swedish, translation in English will be provided to the extent time and resources allow.
